Due to the latest Windows Defender update, there has been an increase in cases where our software is mistakenly placed in quarantine. We are making every effort to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. However, until an official fix is released, you will need to manually restore and add our application to the exclusion list. Below is a detailed guide:
Step 1: Open Windows Defender
- Click Start.
- Type “Windows Security” and open the application.
- Go to the “Virus & threat protection” section.
- Click “Protection history.”
Step 2: Find the file in quarantine
- In the list, locate the item related to the removed file (e.g., grabber.exe).
- Click on it and select “Restore.”
- Confirm the action if prompted by User Account Control (UAC).
Step 3: Add the file to exclusions
- In the “Virus & threat protection” section, click “Manage settings” (under “Virus & threat protection settings”).
- Scroll down to “Exclusions.”
- Click “Add or remove exclusions.”
- Click “Add an exclusion” → “File.”
- Specify the path to the restored file, for example:
C:\Program Files\TeleLinkSoftHelper\bin\grabber.exe
Step 4: Start the service
- In the Windows search bar, type “Services” and open the program.
- In the list, find the service named ngs.
- Right-click on it and select “Start.”
